Reiki is a natural hands-on healing technique originally from Japan and has no correlation with religion, cult, or philosophy. The simplicity and effectiveness of the connection to vital energy (ki), guided and maintained by Universal wisdom (Rei), allows every single person to benefit from this therapy which is officially recommended by the National Health System of Brazil for example as an alternative medicine for emotional and physical healing

Reiki can assist in the following:

  • Anxiety healing and stress reduction
  • Sleep disturbance resolution
  • Phobias and trauma dissolution
  • Cleansing and energetic protection of your home and energetic balance of all ambients
  • Fatigue and physical pain or headaches
  • Emotional, physical, and spiritual relaxation
  • Body energetical center alignment (chakras)
  • Connection to your body, soul and deep sense of calmness, comfort, and peace

Steps for a Reiki therapy:

  1. Preparation of the space for treatment
  2. A short conversation with the Client to check their physical and mental health
  3. Preparation to start the treatment, providing breathing exercises & relaxation amongst others
  4. The Client is invited to sit or lay down in a comfortable position for the whole treatment and ideally it is most relaxing to close one’s eyes and receive the Reiki treatment through the laying on of hands by the Therapist in various areas of the body. The Client remains fully dressed throughout the treatment as there is no need for the Therapist’s hands to have direct contact
  5. The treatment lasts for about 40 minutes and then the Therapist will then either through slight touch on the shoulder or quiet words, bring the Client back slowly with eyes opening to their normal state and leave the Client for a few moments in their own thoughts
  6. It is then recommended to enjoy a herbal tea or water to increase the state of relaxation and calm after the Therapy
